LOGHOMES
A Tradition of Log Home Building
HISTORY
|
In
1790 our
family of
German
emigrants
started
working with
nature. With
simple tools,
they worked
with trees
from the
forest to
carve for
themselves a
life
harmonious
with the
beautiful
world around
them. The
first log
homes were
built in
Canada. We
built our
own home in
a simple,
practical
fashion,
four walls
with a post
in the
middle. This
large room
was our
center for
family
living. As
many as 10
people lived
in this area,
which served
as cooking,
relaxation
and sleeping
quarters. Grandpa
had the idea
to bring
this natural
form of
living to
the rest of
the world. Soon
the family
began to
produce log
homes for
other
families and
a thriving
business was
birthed. The
company grew
its way back
across the
Atlantic to
begin
producing in
Finland and
since 1997
we´ve also
a mill in
Estonia,
certified
under ISO
9001:2000 We’ve
kept the
traditions
of our
forefathers
alive and
are happy to
share them
with you
today!
Many
thanks for
your
interest in
our products
and service.
